The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia D.V. Kove sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D.N. Medoev on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by Russian Federation.
The congratulation, in particular, says:
13 years ago, on August 26, 2008, historical justice for our states was restored – the Russian Federation recognized the state independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Abkhazia attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation with South Ossetia. I am sure that our countries have great potential for interaction, which will be realized for the benefit of our peoples.
