Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in Russian Federation Dmitry Medoev sent a greeting telegram to South Ossetia Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of South Ossetia- the Day of the Republic.
The telegram says in particular:
“I testify the deepest respect and consider it an honor to send you greetings in connection with the National holiday – the Day of the Republic.
The date of the 20th September 1990 became the most important landmark, the symbol of the birth of the Alania Country, based on the richest historical experience, ancient history, aspiration for safety, neighborliness constructive labor.
Twenty years ago there was the event which became the starting point in the new historical annals of our nation, terrible ordeals fell on its lot which it has undergone with credit and dignity due to the patience, courage and whole-hearted devotion to the Motherland.
Mr Minister, I am taking a pleasant advantage to assure you again of me deepest respect and ask to accept sincere wishes of good health, success and well-being.”
