November, 17 saw a meeting of Murat Dzhioev, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement, heading South Ossetian mission, with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva International Discussions representing the EU, the OSCE and the UN who had arrived to Tskhinval in anticipation of the coming round of the discussions.

The agenda of the 34th round of the discussions, planned for December 8-9, 2015 was talked over.

As earlier, special attention of the Co-Chairs was paid to the problem of maintaining security in South Ossetia and to a range of humanitarian problems including the issue of South Ossetia missing citizens’ search in particular.

South Ossetian party expressed contentment with Dusan Ignjatovic appointment as an independent expert on criminal investigations, who according to the agreements reached within the Geneva process is currently inquiring the case of the missing citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia lost in 2008.

Gunther Bechler, who is replacing Ambassador Angelo Gneadinger, the OSCE representing Co-Chair, was introduced to the meeting attendees.

The parties expressed readiness to fruitful cooperation within the coming round of the discussions.

Later the guests visited the National Museum of the Republic where saw unique artifacts of the Bronze Age and sports center “Olimp” recently opened in the town.
